Bulthaup Showroom

Collaborating with the in-house design team at Bulthaup Chicago, GGC built a new kitchen design showroom for the acclaimed global brand. Located in a historic 19th-Century post and beam loft in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, Bulthaup introduced a new showcase of modern kitchen concepts. The corporate-owned location features new vignettes with a focus on open room designs and furnishings.

Emphasizing warm finishes and seamless functionality Bulthaup Chicago introduced innovative new options. With clarity of design, and attention to detail, the new showcase emphasizes incorporating gathering spaces into the open kitchen. Communal lifestyle meets refined German craftsmanship is the essence of the brand. The focus is on sleek designs and creative spaces where families can relax and gather while preparing a meal. It is a fresh take on the lasting sophistication of Bulthaup.

Designed by the in-house team at Bulthaup Chicago, and built by Goldberg General Contracting, the new showroom is about the softer side of Bauhaus ideals. In addition to a sales center, the dynamic new space will also serve as a location for hosting events for architects and interior design teams.

Founded in 1949, Bulthaup is one of the world’s leading kitchen manufacturers with global showroom locations. It has a noted reputation for its high-quality craftsmanship, contemporary designs, and minimalist elegance. The family-owned enterprise is headquartered in Lower Bavaria in the town of Bodenkirchen in a forested region east of Munich, Germany. Its U.S. headquarters are based in Los Angeles, CA.
