Lincoln Park, Traditional Three-Flat Conversion

This renovation converted a former historic three-flat apartment building into a modern single-family home. Its original distinctive street façade was preserved and restored. However, its entire interior was restructured on all floors, the basement was lowered, and a new walkout patio and entrance were added on the lower-level. Highlights of the project include a new four-story staircase, new floorplans, new window openings, a new basement living area, a new white-oak kitchen, historic architectural
finishes, and an ornate skylight above it all. The project was featured in Custom Builder magazine, and in a cover story by Luxe Interiors & Design magazine. The design was honored with an award from The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
